Full coverage car insurance can protect a driver, despite the level of damage, and will cover him personally in the event he is injured. Liability insurance is less expensive and was not planned to provide the coverage that full coverage car insurance offers.

The two types of coverage have different premium costs and most companies base the pricing on age, driving history, gender, type of car, and so forth. The companies will often ask customers to provide an estimated guess as to how many miles you drive each year and this too will affect your premiums.
