Accidents Without Insurance
Accidents without insurance can be a harrowing experience. Insurance can help to protect a person against loss of their property or personal injury. Insurance is a policy where you invest a certain amount, that you do not get back, that will pay you in the event of an accident or injury. The specifics vary greatly according to the kind of insurance.
Health insurance is designed to help a person with their medical care in case of an accident or illness. Typically someone pays in a certain amount every month called premiums and you may have to pay a certain percentage on your doctor's visits or prescriptions but the insurance is designed to help you with the costs. It will also help you in emergencies such as an accident, a broken bone, or a sudden illness. Accidents without insurance for ones health coverage can end up costing huge amounts of money when medical care is needed.
Auto insurance is intended for accidents; either your fault or someone else's. You pay on your car insurance premium every month (or quarterly or yearly) and if you are in an auto accident, the insurance can cover injuries and damages. There are two basic kinds of car insurance; liability and full-coverage. Liability will only cover what you are liable for. Full-coverage will cover anything that happens to your car, your body or to the other party in an accident. Most areas require some sort of auto insurance and accidents without insurance can result in fines as well as having to pay out of pocket for damages.
The main purpose of life insurance is to cover the people left behind (survivors) of the person who dies. Life insurance can be used to payoff debt, cover burial expenses or take care of surviving children. In the event of a death, the life insurance company would award the amount of the policy to who ever a person names as their beneficiaries. When accidents without insurance occur and a death is involved it can be both emotionally and financially devastating to those left behind. Life insurance can be very important, especially if you are leaving a spouse that doesn't work, young children, or debts. Home owners insurance, as the name implies, is meant to protect ones house and property. The home owner's insurance will cover for the same things; damage to personal property and also to the residence. Many insurance plans cover natural disasters such as storms or earthquakes. Some plans cover fire and some will not. In recent studies it has been shown that most accidents occur in the home. If someone is hurt on a home owner's property they are entitled to recover damages. It is better to be safe than sorry if one is a homeowner as accidents without insurance can become very costly if there are medical bills to cover or any other damages if a person is hurt on the property. Accidents without insurance can happen at any time anywhere and if they do it can be a very difficult situation. It is very important to carry insurance for whatever situation you may think you may find yourself in where someone can incur damages.
